🍪💕Say hello to Cookie, a sweet and snuggly 5-year-old gray and white darling who’s looking for her forever home. Weighing in at a cuddly 19.8 pounds, Cookie came to us through an owner surrender due to circumstances beyond their control. She’s crate trained, kid-friendly, and loves to be wherever her people are. While she’ll need ongoing care and likely regular Cytopoint shots, Cookie is more than worth the extra love.

Meet GB
Meet GB – A Special Pup Looking for a Special Home
GB is a sweet, 3-year-old neutered boy who’s ready to find his forever family. He came into rescue from a local shelter. He was underweight and had regurgitation issues. Since being in rescue, he has been neutered, had surgery on his soft palate and one tonsil removed. He eats and drinks from a raised bowl and is on medication to control his regurgitation. He will need to remain on these medications.
Since then, he’s made great progress thanks to surgery and medication, and he’s thriving in his foster home. GB now weighs 21 pounds and still has a few to gain, but his condition is well-managed and stable.
GB is smart, active, and thrives with mental stimulation. He loves treat-filled Kong toys and enjoys his walks and bath time. He’ll need supervision, as he can be a chewer when bored, and he’s still working on his house training. Raised bowls and daily meds help keep him feeling his best—and he’ll need to stay on his medication long term.
Why GB Could Be the Right Fit for You:
All applicants must be home-check approved.

Meet Little One

This adorable pup came into rescue in January 2025 after being surrendered to a local shelter with a medical condition. She has since undergone successful surgery and is now thriving. While we’ve learned she is deaf, that doesn’t slow her down one bit!

Meet "Lola" - ** Medical Hold **
Spayed Female - Cream Frenchie - Approximately 5 years old - Weighs: 23.5 pounds
Lola was found wandering the streets in December 2024 - A Good Samaritan and their Family were trying to gain her trust to capture her and help her find her forever home.
See Story Below:
"After trying for 3 days just before Christmas to secure her, we were informed that she had been hit by a car and was deceased, we were devastated that we couldn’t save her in time. Then, the next morning, we received a message that she was found on the street, she was wet and freezing, and without use of her hind legs but very much alive! A little miracle! We picked her up and immediately drove her to receive medical attention.
Lola: A girl's name that means "strong, resilient" This is what we’ve decided to name this little survivor of the heartless back yard breeder boom. She is in need of a few surgeries, the most important being hip surgery. She had an emergency spay due to having a pyometra (Infection in the uterus). She had her Hip Surgery on 2/27/25 and is recovering nicely. Her last surgery will be an amputation of her front leg that has nerve damage that has not responded to therapy treatments. Lola is a white French bulldog, approximately 5 years old, with the sweetest, most gentle soul. It took Lola a couple of days to realize that we wanted to help her, not harm her. I’m sure she has every reason to not trust humans. Safe to assume she was used for breeding and discarded like trash, she has multiple C-section scars and other medical issues that can occur from carrying litters back to back.
She is now being kept comfortable as she awaits surgery so that she may frolic towards the next chapter of her life, a chapter that will resemble nothing of the one she has just survived, it will be one of love, regular meals and all of the belly rubs her little heart desires. She has a long journey ahead of her but she’s all heart with an immense will to live.
She is an amazing little soul! Emoji
Thank you for taking the time to read about her."
February 20th, 2025
Lola has recovered perfectly from her first surgery. We weren’t able to raise enough funds in time for her surgeries so we reached out to NorCal Frenchie Rescue and with sad but optimistic hearts, have handed Lola over to them so that she can receive the care she needs right away. She’s literally the sweetest most affectionate pup I’ve ever come across and she will be missed immensely. She left such an impression on us and is sure to do the same with whomever gets the honor of adopting her. ❤
February 27th, 2025
Lola is recovering well from her hip surgery today and is being cared for at Blue Ravine Animal Hospital.

Meet "Midge" - ** Medical Hold **
Midge - spayed female - fawn with black muzzle - 3 years old - weighs: 20.0 pounds
Midge came into Rescue via the Bay Area Shelter. She came into the shelter with a prolapsed rectum and chronic diarrhea. When we received Midge in Rescue she
weighed 11.25 pounds and was a walking skeleton. We ran several fecal tests/panels on her looking for anything that could be causing the excessive diarrhea. All tests were negative - Our next step was an abdominal ultrasound that showed she had inflamed bowels (Intestinal Bowel Disease) - So, then we proceeded to controlled diet change.
After 2 prescription foods - We finally hit on Royal Canin Ultamino Diet Dry Food and her stools
are getting more solid and formed. She is also gaining weight and looks completely
like another dog then the one that came into Rescue.
Midge is a very sweet girl who gets along with other dogs. She has to be fed separately from other dogs because she can be overly protective of her food. This does not surprise me because of how emaciated she was when we received her. She has just started to play and enjoys laying out on the deck sunbathing when the sun is out. She is a Diamond in the Rough - A True Gem! She will make a Great Addition to any Family. She can be very shy and timid at first meeting anyone but
does warm up quickly.
She has been spayed, uvulectomy (palate surgery) and colpopexy surgery in mid-February 2025.
She will require her prescription food for life: Royal Canin Ultamino Only! No additional treats! Just this diet only!
UPDATE ON MIDGE AS OF 5/15/25:
Lab Tests ran on "Midge": Comprehensive Fecal - Negative - Chem17/SDMA/Electrolytes - Normal - Canine Diarrhea Real PCR Panel - Normal - GI Panel with Spec CPL K9 - Ultrasound (Abdominal) - ACTH Stim Test - Addison Disease
Diagnosis: Addison's Disease (Hormone Imbalance)
Midge has had blood in her stools since she has been under our care. We have performed extensive tests (see above) to determine the potential cause and have placed her on a hydrolyzed diet. One of the tests performed confirmed she has hypoadrenocorticism also known as Addison's Disease. We have placed her on steroids and although she has improved significantly, she still occasionally has blood in her stools. She will need to be on steroids lifelong and therefore will need more regular veterinary exams and bloodwork every 6 months. We want to keep her on her hydrolyzed diet indefinitely as well since her stools have become more formed since starting this diet as well.

Meet "Chico-Man"
Chico is a Tri-Color, Neutered Male, 3 years old, and weighs 30.0 lbs.
Chico came into Rescue from a Friend of the Owner who has been watching Chico for the past year - They were hoping the owner could take him back, but the owner is unable to do so. Chico needs stability and structure in his life. He is a quiet boy who takes a little bit of warming up to you before he is all in! Once he is committed this Boy won't let you out of his sight! He will be your Little Buff Muscle Hamster!"
He needs a calm, quiet, relaxing household with NO CATS and we would prefer No Kids - He is fine with kids, but could easily knock them down. He gets along with spayed female smaller dogs, but we would love to see this boy get the one-on-one attention he deserves with being the only Dog in the household.
He has been recently neutered and hopefully in 3 months, he will stop marking his territory. He is really a SOFT DOG - he sometimes submissive urinates when somebody new approaches him. He is crate trained but needs work on the house training.
This boy needs someone who is committed to working with him. Chico-Man
has a lot of potential if given the chance.
